News from Alexander and Hannibal.

April 28th, 2008

I am delighted to bring news of Persphones’ two boys, Alexander and Hannibal. They are both enjoying life and have settled down wonderfully as pet cats.
Both boys are growing up beautifullly! Alexander has kept his tri colored marble pattern and white tummy. He has a gorgeous face, with a broad nose and whiskerpads, nice rounded ears and has the bengal tummy “pouch”. Hannibal has a rich ground color, really nice spots with some arrow head rosettes, white tummy and a really nice face with the same broad whiskerpads as Alexander. Here a couple of pictures of the two:

Cancan has moved to a new home.

March 24th, 2008

We have now found the right home for Cancan, so she is no longer avaliable. She will be living a wonderfull life as a pet cat in Copenhagen.

Cancan avaliable as a pet cat.

Trollspotting Cancan is our first bengal cat. She has been with us since January 2002.
We have had many wonderfull years with Cancan, and have seen her give birth to, and rear several kittens. A bengal queen with the best mother instincts ever and a wonderfull pet!
We have decided to let Cancan retire now, 6 years old. She could still have been a wonderfull mother many times in the future, but we beleive that she should have the oppertunity to live the calm life being 100% a pet cat now.

Cancan has now been neutralized and is avaliable as a pet cat for the right person. She would love to be a single cat at a home with someone who has the energy, time and right interest to have a “aristocat” like Cancan. This person spends most of his/her time at home, has no small children and is willing to give plenty of attention to a cat.
If you are this person, and would like to adopt Cancan, you are most welcome to write to us on:

Greetings from Hannibal (2007) and Elvis.

December 16th, 2007

I have received a couple of really sweet images of Hannibal and his new feline friend Elvis. Elvis is a Birman kitten whome moved in with the family a couple of weeks ago, and as both pictures clearly indicate, things are working out just perfectly.

Ocassionally I am contacted by people who want to know if bengal cats are able to socialise with other cat breeds. My experience has only been positive.
I have a kitten that lives with a Ragdoll, one that lives with two Sphinx cats, One living with a Norweigan forest cat and now a kitten enjoying life with a Birman. And not once have I heard of problems.
Naturally one has to look at other aspects than breed when placing two cats together, (the cats’ age/activity level/number and age of cats already in the household asf.) but I am happy to say that “bengal aristocats” dont just socialise with “spots and marble patterns”.

Kitten avaliable! Efeuenborgs Alexander (2007)

November 22nd, 2007

To be honest, I would LOVE to keep Alexander as a pet. He is so much all we are searching for in a Bengal cat.

To begin with Alexander is a SUPER marble. He has an absolutely gorgeous tricolor pattern with a super horizontal flow and great contrast. His belly ground color i white with pich black spotting. He has a wonderfull face with a broad muzzle, large whisker pads and a large noze. Eyes almost round and have a deep yellow/brown color.

Another story is his personality. Alexander is a kitten with the best personality! He loves to be talked with, and purrs every time we come to talk. He is going to be a perfect pet kitten!

Alexander is avaliable. He has been neutralized, has had his two first vaccinations and a thorough vet check, and is ready to leave our home – to the right family.

Here are a couple of “November day” pictures taken today.
A marvelous cat with a “show cat” potential, walking in the garden.

Kenzo (2005) and Coco.

November 10th, 2007

A couple of weeks ago Camilla sent me new pictures of Kenzo. I am very fond of receiving updates about former kittens “of the house”, and found this picture quite sweet.
Besides the “lounge mood” of the two cats, it also shows the diversity in bengal colours.

New kitten pictures!

October 19th, 2007

Alexander

Fall is a wonderfull time of the year. The trees are showing off the most remarkable colour variations, fruits are ready to be picked and some days the combination of the sun and a clear blue sky makes the scenery breathtakingly beautiful.

Alexander and Hannibal are soon 12 weeks of age, and almost ready to leave home.

Today we have uploaded some new pictures of the 4 kittens. They can be found in the “kitten” section.

News 23 Oktober: Our sweet Hannibal is now reserved to a family from Copenhagen. Little Alexander with the wonderful tricolor marble pattern is still up for adoption.

Momiji, Sakura, Alexander and Hannibal.

October 7th, 2007

After many days of considering which names to give the 4 kittens in our house, we have at last come to a conclusion!

Cancans two girls have been gifted with the names ‘Momiji’ and ‘Sakura’.
It isn’t the first time I use Japanese names for kittens, and both names seem just right for at couple of beautiful girls.

The boys we have named ‘Hannibal’ and ‘Alexander’, as they both have proven to be very adventurous boys.

All kittens are, of course, adventurous. Be besides the natural behaviour a kitten has, I have seen big differences in the personalities of the kittens were born here.
Some kittens just barge into everything; some keep an watchful eye before exploring the world, while others seem to “nudge” a sibling in front of it.

Hannibal is positively a youngster throwing himself into any mischief he can get into, where the physically smaller Alexander is often the first one to explore new things, but does it with an aristocratic grace.

Here are a couple of pictures of ‘Sakura’, showing off her very interesting pattern.

Greetings from Kenzo (alias Shuriken 2005)

September 27th, 2007

Today I received a greeting from Camilla and Kenzo (2004). Camilla sent some pictures along with the e-mail, and from looking at the images, it seems as if Kenzo is having a nice and relaxing vacation away from the big city. (Yawning and all !) Happy holidays from here!

Cancans kittens – Week 4

September 25th, 2007

4 weeks old, Cancans girls are just beginning to explore the world outside the area where they were born. These two girls are in no hurry to try any other food than their mothers milk, yet what goes on outside can be intriguing and worth hanging around to watch.
Cancan sends encouraging purrs to let them know that it’s ok, and many hours are spent just sending fascinated glances at trains, planes and ships (of Brio/Lego of course).
Here a couple of images of the two. For more, go to the avaliable kittens page.
